Restaurante Chino Great World
About This Spot
Stepping into Restaurante Chino Great World on Av. 8 de Marzo is like entering a quietly bustling corner of Chinese culinary tradition nestled in the heart of San Bartolomé de Tirajana. The atmosphere strikes a gentle balance between casual comfort and attentive care; it moves at a welcoming, unhurried pace where here, the food and the company take center stage.
The space holds a comforting familiarity—a modest yet warm setting where the daily rhythm of locals and visitors gently converges. It’s a place that invites you to settle in and savor, whether that means sharing a meal with friends or treating yourself to a moment of quiet pleasure after a day of exploring.
What makes the experience special isn’t just the menu—though the dishes here offer a rich tapestry of flavours that reward those who appreciate nuanced takes on Chinese cuisine. Pork bathed in a lively sweet and sour sauce, duck served with that distinctive black bean richness, or the subtle earthiness of mushrooms and bamboo quietly invite discovery through each bite. These are plates that feel thoughtfully prepared, with care toward authenticity though not without their own local twist.
While the pace of service remains brisk and considerate, it’s the little human moments that linger—the friendly nods from the staff, the steady clinking of plates, the occasional murmur of familiar conversation around the room. Such details paint a picture of a neighborhood spot where many return, drawn by the food’s comforting consistency and the welcoming, unpretentious atmosphere.
For those curious to explore, this isn’t a place of flashy presentation or experimental ideas; instead, it’s a steady, honest embrace of flavors that let the heart of the cuisine show through. Whether it’s your first visit or a familiar stop, Restaurante Chino Great World offers a sincere taste of community alongside its dishes—one where enjoyment grows not only from the meal itself but from the thoughtful, human ambiance that surrounds it.

My visit to this Japanese restaurant was an absolute delight! The food was incredibly delicious, made with high-quality and very fresh ingredients. On top of that, the prices were quite affordable. I would be happy to visit again!

Lovely meal here tonight. Friendly staff, tasty food and a good price. What’s not to like.

We come here multiple times a week, because the food is delicious although more on the expensive side compared to another favourite of mine (see my other reviews). I love the crispy duck - it comes sizzling in a hot metal pan. The trick is to keep the such in the pan as is and not to pour the sauce over it. Take a few slices of the duck into a separate place and pour the sauce over it there - that way the duck stays hot for longer and maintains the crispiness

Good experience. Something small was missing from the taste, but overall it was good and I will go back someday. Update 2/2025, here we are again. This time the tastes were great and we loved the service! 5/5

If you want to eat a good Chinese food I recommend this restaurant, before finding this one we eat on the beach side at all you can eat Chinese restaurant and you think to go there because it's not expensive, 10 euro per person but for who knows the real taste of Chinese food a don't recommend to eat because it's not so tasty ( my opinion) , just eat in this restaurant and you will not be disappointed.

Delicious and fresh food, friendly service! We ordered wonton and pekin soup, crispy duck, fried rice, fried vegetables and ice cream. All were great, but the crispy duck was the masterpiece. Highly recommended!
